Hole-Punch Assignment

On the first day of my experimental darkroom class, we were asked to bring in a 4×5 negative, punch 5 holes out of it, trade hole punches with another student, and go into the darkroom and try to make something cool. This is the oddest assignment I’ve been given… here were my results..ImageImageImageImageImage

Moonlit Waves

Going to the beach at night is the best thing ever! This one’s colored pencils and paint pen.

Winter Wonderland

This winter has been SO mild! We’ve only had three legit snows. Has it been this mild where you’re at, too? This is from snowshoeing in the Chief Noonday Trail:

OBX Wave

A really fun-looking swell in the Outer Banks. Did I have a surfboard with me? Of course not. So I tortured myself by watching other people surf while taking some pics up on the pier.

Changing

went for a walk today and gathered some leaves that were changing. came home and photographed them on the light table. hope you enjoy these beautiful colors of the season!

Fall Color

The leaves are really colorful here in Michigan! I purchased some 50 speed, color slide film last week and shot some photos in Saugatuck. I’ll post those fall photos as soon as I get the film developed. In the mean time, here are a couple I took on my light table with the point and shoot.
