Pineapple Fields

finished up a colored pencil drawing of a girl walking through pineapple rows to a sunrise and good surf.. guess you could say i’ve been daydreaming a bit lately. surely this scene exists somewhere in Hawaii, right? included some soft pastels in the water and outlined in paint pen.

Costa Rica

A couple random Costa Rica photos that I found while organizing folders on my hard drive

Couple o’ Longboarders

Base is prisma colored markers, then colored pencils, then soft pastels, and finally black and white paint pen for the finishing touches

Work-In-Progress

After getting inspired by looking at the websites of two my favorite surf photographers, Lucia Griggi and Jeff Divine, I started yet another sketch. Yesterday I ran to the art store to get some more markers and totally ended up spending $60. This is turning out to be an expensive way to spend my free time but I just can’t stop, haha!

Drawing Session

Spent the morning sitting up on the deck drawing this surfer girl and drinking coffee. This was was drawn with sharpees and colored pencils- so fun! Scroll down to see the progress…
