Changing

went for a walk today and gathered some leaves that were changing. came home and photographed them on the light table. hope you enjoy these beautiful colors of the season!

Fall Color

The leaves are really colorful here in Michigan! I purchased some 50 speed, color slide film last week and shot some photos in Saugatuck. I’ll post those fall photos as soon as I get the film developed. In the mean time, here are a couple I took on my light table with the point and shoot.

Ocean Abtract

more of these to come.. want to sketch up a few different abstract wave drawings with different color schemes.. was made with soft pastels

Lake Butler

Sometimes its fun to shoot film. A couple of grainy images of the Butler Chain of Lakes in Windermere/ Orlando, Florida.

Sunset Shoot

Some slides from shooting the sunset in Rincon, Puerto Rico!

Love the Tetons!

Today’s photo- one from the Teton National Park I took a couple years ago. It makes me look forward to fall but also makes me want to jump in my car and go on a road trip. Have an awesome day!

Surf-Art Report

Here’s your daily surf art forecast: purpose hibiscus and some nice a frame set waves! Alright!

Sorting Slides

Today I was organizing slides that were strewn about in a dusty box in the pole barn.

Soft Palette Waves

For the first time, I tried a drawing using only soft pastels. I was going to add more detail with a black colored pencil, but actually liked how it was just simple and light. I always want to outline everything in black but I resisted! Pastels are really fun because you don’t have to be a perfectionist and can just fade the colors around with your fingers.
