Hey Audrey, thank you.. sometimes I mix all three, like, I’ll start out filling the page with markers as the background, using all dark colors. Then, I’ll use colored pencils over the top of the markers to fill in mid-tones and highlights. If you want a really even-looking sky (which is kinda hard to get all the same shade with markers cause you get those ink overlap marks.. and hard with colored pencils cause you have to shade with even pressure) definitely try soft pastels. You get really even, smooth color and its really easy to make colors fade into each other (similar to airbrush). Do you draw, or paint, or?? I’d love to see your blog if you have one
