Creating a fresh piece for the Surf Art Expo… with soft pastels and acrylic. Happy Summer.

Please join me for my first art show, Memorial Day weekend, at the Steel Pier Classic in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The Surf Art Expo is held annually in conjunction with the surf contest, right on the beach. Excited to start putting a booth together and getting ready for the weekend!

Excited to send some art to this event at Surfinista in Cocoa Beach, Florida. (Feelin’ a little homesick right now not gunna lie.) The art auction was held to raise money for middle school girls to venture out on a mission trip to Nicaragua. Please take a look at the blog of Melissa Diamond, the organizer of the event and pioneer of Surf Sisters ministry: http://www.girlsurfsworld.com/ She’s a fantastic writer and her surf stories and travels will stoke you out! A mother’s day card I made for my awesome mom with soft pastels

this is a soft pastel chalk painting! i’m practicing clouds and trying to get better at skies. i really like how the waves turned out, they look kinda translucent. hope you enjoy this one, stay stoked..
Today I was craving a snow cone. Then I thought of how good a shave ice would be. There is no shave ice here, so I drew an illustration of one. Then I drew two more. It was a good time.
